Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do I need props?

If you do not have any props, you can substitute props for other items in your house. Props are useful in finding the deepest connection possible, but ultimately all of these videos can be done without props! If you do not have any props, I recommend that you start the videos and build your collection of props as you build consistency in your home practice.

  • What if I am doing it wrong?

As long as there are no immediate injuries, there are benefits to moving even if it doesn’t feel “perfect.” If you do not feel like private lessons are the right fit for you at this moment, you might start the videos and then reach out to me when you have questions. If you’ve been practicing consistently, this gives us a touch point and a shared language to make impactful adjustments.

  • Is Pilates painful?

Pilates should not feel painful! If you are using the virtual platform and consistently experiencing pain, that is a signal that your body needs more support. It is important we do not ignore these signals and make appropriate adjustments as needed.

  • How often can I do Pilates?

Pilates can be done every day! My on demand library offers four categories of flows to help build movement skills and offer variation for your home practice.
